A dazzling and misunderstood dancer from Brazil, the sensuous Katarina has been fighting off men her entire life. Passionate to a fault, will she learn to play the game in time, or will the right doors in Beverlywood stay forever closed? Born in Russia on the Black Sea, Yulia has had a lifelong passion for acting. A ballroom dancer at age 10, she got her first major stage role by literally wandering into an open call. Since then she had studied at the Drama School in Russia amongst other institutions, learning Meisner in addition to Stanislavsky. In the US she studies with Ivana Chubbuck and the Zen Actor’s Studio. Yet despite her extensive technique, spirituality is the more important aspect of both acting, and acting studies, to Yulia.
